Masks

Masks are an easy way to include or to exclude a certain category of files when you create a backup task or sync task, without having to manually check all the source files and folders.

When you choose to apply an inclusion mask, that means that only the files of the types defined in the inclusion mask(s) will be included in your task. When you choose to apply an exclusion mask, your task will not contain any file that match the types defined in the exclusion mask: e.g. exclude Temporary and Useless files from your backup.

The masks you define in Options -> Masks can be applied to any backup task you create.

Note: Masks are applied only on Files and Folders!

You can manage the mask lists in Options window - Masks page.

Titan Backup offers you a set of predefined masks but you can also created your own masks.
