From the Welcome page
click on the Backup link/icon.
A wizard will open.
In the General
Tab fill in the necessary fields:
the Task Name
- to easily identify the task in the tasks list
Archive/Folder
Name - the name of the backup file archive if you are using compression
or the folder name if the backup is created without compression
Description -
a brief description that might help you identify better the task in the
future.
Notification email - an email address where all Titan Backup
notifications should be sent to. e.g. notifications when the tasks stops
on error.

In the Source tab choose the content
of your backup:
Files/Folders:
click the Files & Folders icon and select the files and folders you
want to include in the backup.
Registry Keys:
click the Registry Keys icon and select the registry keys you want to
include in the backup.
Mails: click
the Mails icon and select the mails, contacts and rules you want to include
for each mail client available.
User Settings:
click the Users Settings icon and select the settings you want to include
in the backup.

In Destination tab choose where you want
your backup to be saved:
Local Folder - Choose
a local folder where the backup will be created.
Local
Area Network (LAN Folder) - Choose the LAN Folder where the backup
will be created.
Removable Disk
Device (Floppy, USB stick, Memory Card) - Choose a device from the
drop-down of available removable disk devices then choose an existent
folder on this device.
CD / DVD - Choose the CD/DVD
drive and a folder on this drive. You can choose to erase the CD/DVD before
backup Note: the CD must be re-writable in order
to erase it before backup.
Remote location
using FTP - Fill in the information necessary for a FTP connection
or choose from the list of saved FTP Connections.

the Options
tab choose the compression & encryption
settings and the backup type:

Optional: In the Scheduler tab you can schedule the
task to run:
on Windows Startup
on Windows Shutdown
on a certain Day of the week at startup, shutdown
or at certain time.
on every X'th day at startup, shutdown or at certain
time.
on every X'th hour

Optional: In the Events tab choose an event:
run an external application before the task starts
run an external application after the task ends
notify on errors - show window, play sound or/and
send email
notify on warnings - show window, play sound or/and
send email
notify on summary - show window, play sound or/and
send email
